Good Shepherd Clinics
are the medical ministry work
of Dayspring International in India.
Good Shepherd Clinics help children and adults of all ages from many different economic backgrounds. Most of the time, our clinics are strategically places in rural areas that lack any other consistent medical resource. In many of these areas, there is not a single doctor, no nurse and certainly no hospital. It is in these areas we make the most transformational difference in lives of the villagers.
Jepeiti is getting older, in fact he’s very old. He’s slow to walk, slow to speak and most days he doesn’t walk far from his hut. But not too long ago Jepeiti has reason to walk a down the long dirt road. He needed help and had heard where he could get it. The Good Shepherd Clinic.
Jepeiti started walking and he made it there to get his check up. Turned out he needed more than a check up, so he is not getting the more serious medicines he needed. But his first step was a checkup. A simple check up. A checkup visit that many of us dismiss or wish we didn’t have to go to. Jepeiti walked a long long way just for his checkup. He was so thankful to be able to get one. He knew it was worth his hard journey.
This is goal of Dayspring International’s Good Shepherd community work: to education, aid, help, inspire, uplift and minister to the whole person; truly making disciples through loving all of them in mind, body and spirit.
