Good Shepherd Clinics
are the medical ministry work
of Dayspring International in India.
Everyone gets sick. Everyone needs help. But what do you do when you don’t have any place to go? And when you just can’t afford it?
Health care is always one of the biggest most important concerns of any nation for its people. It should also be one of our top priorities in sharing God’s love. When we tell people God loves them so much He sent His only son to die on the cross for them, some might actually think "well that’s fine and all, but could your God just send me some medicine for my sick and dying child instead?"
More often than not the sicknesses that kill the most people in underdeveloped countries are sicknesses that have cures with known medicine and practices. However, in these underdeveloped countries there is lack of education and distribution of such remedies.
This is where Dayspring International’s Good Shepherd Clinics come in. We help the more remote areas of India with the medical attention they need. We truly love them in mind, body and spirit through Good Shepherd Community Clinics, as well as Churches, Schools and Training Centers.
The center of our work is of course the local community church. From that church like from the spokes in a wheel we plant and serve the community in the ways it has need. Some communities need less job skills training for the old and more education for their young. Others need a lot of medical care due to disease outbreak or extreme neglect for too long. The goal is always the same, to love and care for the children of God.
